Poems -- Harshita Saha

⋇⋆✦⋆⋇ AUGUST RAIN  ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇

Am willing to work today
But the sky won't stop murmuring
And her tears never ceased
Little, little showers now and then
And the breeze so cold and chill
The legs are lazy to walk nor match
Warmth do they plead and cry for
But am willing to work.
The sky' unending tricks and play
For a while, the sun shines
In the next seconds, heavy showers
The messy, muddy soil I can't bear
All the same, I must work today.
So, to feed my body and soul
And off did I put away my warmth
Sluggishly dress up in my plastic coat
Slowly with a murmur, cuddling my arms
Off I went to do my work.
