Destiny is our fate which is written by the God. It is believed that destiny is based on the good and bad deeds we did in our previous birth. It is said that we can win our destiny by prayers.
The devotee of Lord Shiva, Markandeya, has a destiny that he will die on his sixteenth year of birth. But he wins his destiny by holding the Shivalinga tightly. His prayer has made him free from his destiny.
We believe that the horoscope tells our destiny. But it is just the business of the astrologer. Our real destiny is known by no one other than the God.
We have to do good things and pray to the God to win our destiny.

Rich man spends sleepless nights
Thinking of his valuables and
Afraids whether the stored valuables
May be stolen by theives.
Poor man spends sleepless nights
Thinking of his way of survival
The next day and thinks how he is
Going to lead a life in future.
Sad man spends sleepless nights
Thinking of his past incidents and shed tears
Thinks of his future; never live in the present
And be a sad man forever.
But
Happy man never thinks about the day
which he spent or about the next day
Which is not in his hand.
He lives in the present.
